Glacial Griffon
Double rep points this weekend, I was gonna OWN that stupid griffon if it killed me. This quest has caused me so much duress, if you can even have that in a game. Even more so because I NEED that damn skill as a warrior (not really, but I've convinced myself as much). Went in this afternoon, 1st try, with this build
OQUTE4BHnpl5A2afgBbX5vG3AA
Can't believe it was that easy. I'm very happy.

Getting an elite for just one quest is rather dull, I prefer going /ranger, get poision tip sig, hunters shot, and a running skill.
Good but nothing new(and there's been ton of other threads for this)

I Am Unstoppable isn't an elite
Anyway on a Warr just use SoS+Gaze of Fury and a few spirits with Evas or YMLAD, take a high energy set, piece of cake.

He said getting an Elite skill just for a quest is dull, he didn't say doing a quest for an Elite skill is dull (which isn't either anyway).

That being said, recommending just getting three skills instead of an elite is the same thing anyway, as 3 regular skills (1000 Balthazar Factionx3) /= 1 elite skill (3000 Balthazar Factionx1). Current Elite balancing seems to be to have the Elite skills do three things at once too.
In reality, the Elite skill is probably cheaper and more rewarding to get though (bonus experience, purchasing only one Signet of Capture instead of three other skills, contributes to Title Tracks). Certainly one that's in as easy and early places to cap as Lyssa's Aura.
I do actually like the build though, for it's purpose, though there's hundreds of effective builds out there for fighting the Glacial Griffon. Must be entertaining to be able spam high-cost spells as a Warrior though .
